This video was recorded and edited by our colleagues at Phoenix Lidar in Los Angeles, who at the time were responsible for integrating the RIEGL VUX-1UAV sensor into the JOUAV company's VTOL CW30 aircraft.
The video was recorded at Chengdu Airport, where the flight training center of the VTOL CW30 manufacturer is located, the video demonstrates in an interesting way, how the LIDAR sensor generates the MDT - Digital Terrain Model, thus passing with its powerful Laser beam through the treetops and down to the ground.

O vídeo foi gravado no Aeroporto de Chengdu, onde fica o centro de treinamento de vôo da empresa fabricante do VTOL CW30, o vídeo demonstra de uma forma interessante, como o sensor LIDAR gera o MDT - Modelo Digital de Terreno, passando assim com seu potente feixe de Laser pela copa das árvores e chegando até o chão.
